Exactly what soloists need! Such a wonderful podcast and accompaniment to Rebecca Seal’s book, a must-listen for anyone working solo! Very pleased it’s back for a new season.

I created my Solo Collective podcast to help make life easier for other solo workers. We discuss everything from anxiety to imposter syndrome, money to home-office design, productivity myths to how to take work less seriously, and networking to how to cope with work when your family are all in the building too.

Now on season three, I’ve spoken to experts and well-known solo workers from around the world, on a mission to find out how we can thrive while working alone. Guests include Dr Laurie Santos (who teaches at Yale and is the host of The Happiness Lab podcast), Emma Gannon (author and host of Ctrl-Alt-Delete podcast), fashion designer Henry Holland, Bruce Daisley (work expert, author of Fortitude, and host of Eat Sleep Work Repeat), Shahroo Izadi (behaviour change expert and author of the Kindness Method), and Anna Sale (host of the award-winning podcast Death, Sex and Money and author of Let's Talk About Hard Things). Season three features conversations with the writer Oliver Burkeman (Author of Four Thousand Weeks: Time and How To Use It) and Madeleine Dore (from Extraordinary Routines and author of I Didn't Do The Thing Today), among many others.

Come and listen - we’d love to have you with us.

A wonderful deep probe of the issues around solo working. I’ve been a solo worker for seven years now and it’s taken most of that time to realise I’ve had to make most of it up as I go along, with very little idea of a structure, necessary boundaries and any goals and reasons for why I work. Rebecca’s podcast has helped to frame many of those ideas for me and has led me to explore the thinking of many more inspirational people. A must-listen for anyone working on their own, indeed, for anyone in work.

Listening gold for all freelancers. I found these interviews so interesting - getting to the heart of what all freelancers work through - isolation, juggling all aspects of the job, money, work life balance... I shall be recommending to all my freelance friends and contacts. Please keep recording them!
