Rebecca ran a fantastic session for one of our groups of small business owners. The talk was engaging and inspiring, and the feedback from the solo workers who took part was excellent - many have struggled with staying motivated and focused.

Rebecca did a brilliant online session for current LSE students and recent alumni based on her research into how to work alone. It was insightful, funny and most of all, she shared tips and observations that were immediately actionable as well as thought-provoking in the longer-term. I learnt a lot and we garnered excellent feedback from our participants. Highly recommended.

Since publishing SOLO, and launching my podcast, the Solo Collective, I've been invited to speak at numerous organisations about how to cope with working alone and how to happily work from home. As an experienced broadcast journalist, I love presenting my ideas and enjoy talking to and with different groups of people - whether that’s three people in a book group or thousands watching live online. I usually provide up to 45 minutes of content, plus a question-and-answer session, or I can provide a more bespoke workshop-style event. Previous clients have included L’Oreal, Mozilla, CogX, The OmniCom Women’s Summit, Harpers Bazaar and the London School of Economics, as well as small business groups, book clubs and charities. Please email me to find out more.

I worked with Rebecca on our Omniwomen Conference (our first ever virtual summit). It was great to hear her first hand experience and recommendations on how to work from home (and alone) - something which at the time was fairly new to our audience. She shared some great practical advice which was all grounded in research. Her ‘candle’ suggestion resonated so well that we invested in and sent one to all delegates. Rebecca came across really well and was very relatable - the session was a great success!
